Pioneering Oregon Wineries

Windy Ridge Winery
(1988-1990’s)

Windy Ridge Winery was a custom crush facility. Clients that did not have their own wine making facilities would take grapes to Windy Ridge. Wine would be made there for them. Windy Ridge would also buy bulk wines from other wineries for resale.

The company produced a number of products including still table wines, beer, and hard cider. Sparkling wines were also made using the Charmat process which took expensive and specialized equipment.

Wines were made under the Windy Ridge, Alder Creek, and Northwest Cuvee labels.

The Winery was located at 9816 SW Tigard Avenue, Tigard, OR. It is not known how long Windy Ridge Winery stayed in business.
