Deedy Parker
Melrose Vineyards,
Umpqua Valley
Deedy Parker co-founded Melrose Vineyards with her husband, Wayne, in 1996 when they first planted 82 acres of grapes. The vineyard and tasting room are located near Roseburg on a bench of the South Umpqua River which was historically an early French settlement.
Over the years the Melrose vineyard has grown to 200+ acres. The tasting room is a beautifully restored 100 year old barn.
Melrose Vineyards sells grapes to various wineries throughout the state. The vineyard and winery are located at 885 Melqua Road, Roseburg, Oregon. Deedy Parker passed away in October 2011.
